Our association allows its members to access in a faster, more economical and effective way the certificates and licenses coveted by those who wish to surpass themselves.
Whether it is for a drone pilot’s license, an ULM, a single-engine aircraft or becoming captain of different types of ship, our members and professional partners have for mission to accompany any amateur along the discovery of these new experiences.

 

In addition to training assistance, the Monaco Flight and Sail Academy also offers its members many advantages related to events in the marine and aviation worlds. Being located in Monaco allows our association to participate in the many sporting events, and socio-professional networking gatherings that take place throughout the year in the Principality. Members enjoy numerous other privileges, discounts, sponsorships from local organizations and clubs as well as invitations to member partner events.

FLIGHT

Flying awards a feeling of freedom that only pilots can experiment.This ultimate sensation is in reach to all of us, whatever our age or sex and piloting a plane does not necessarily require any extraordinary intellectual or technical capacities.
 

With first-class instruction and a fleet of reliable aircrafts, our Academy can offer this experience to all of those who wish to pioneer their way into the open the skies.
Our affiliated schools and our flight instructors who are certified and experimented ensure high-level professional training.Whatever the reason for your desire to pilot (leisure or as a career strategy) we are able to support you until you obtain your pilot's license.
We offer various training programmes which will allow you to acquire your license in the best financial and professional conditions.
 

Our planes are based in the Alpes Maritimes and in Italy (Cannes, Mandelieu, Fayence, Albenga). This means our trainees can take advantage of one of the best regions in France weatherwise. Our simulator is situated at the Monaco heliport.Once obtained, the private pilot license allows its holder to fly an airplane or an ultra
light single-engine aircraft as Captain, by day in visual flight condition, anywhere in Europe with passengers on board. Additional qualifications are also possible, including night piloting, instrument flight training and twin-engine aircraft flights. The Private Pilot License (PPL) requires 60 hours of theoretical training and 45 hours of practical training.
 

As early as age 13, anyone can take the aeronautical initiation certificate ( AIC ), which consists of all the theoretical parts of a private pilot training.
At 15, one can take the first real pilot certificate that is the basic certificate. Nothing stops anyone from starting the learning process beforehand.

SAIL

The Monaco Flight and Sail Academy is also available for future sailors to advise them and to help them obtain their sailing licenses, whether it is the coastal or the offshore licenses. We also offer the best instructors in the region for all the sailing fans.As we do for flying instruction, we also collaborate with highly qualified partners along the Côte d'Azur and in Monaco.
 

The minimum required age for a coastal license is 16.
The license is mandatory to drive a motorboat whose horse power is above 6. This license allows you to move away from a coastal shelter by 6 miles maximum.
The practical training lasts 1h30 (it can be done in groups or individually) to learn the captain 's competences and 2 hours minimum at the helm of the boat.
 

Once you have passed this license, you can take another exam to get the offshore license. This license allows you to drive any type of motor boat without any limitation: be it
horse-power or distance from the coast.
